Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 21 September 2026
The mentorship works because people are honest about their numbers, their mistakes and what they are stuck on. That only happens in a room people trust. These are the rules that keep it that way.
Where this applies
This policy covers everything run by Tradieology Pty Ltd (ABN 85 650 036 034), trading as Simplified Sparky: the website, the Slack workspace, the Skool community, live sessions, in-person dinners and events, and any direct messages or emails between members that come out of the mentorship.
What we expect
- Be straight and be decent. Blunt feedback is welcome. Personal attacks, put-downs and pile-ons are not.
- Keep it in the room. What members share about their business, their numbers and their problems stays inside the mentorship. Don't repeat it, screenshot it or post it anywhere else.
- Show up as yourself. Use your real name and business. One person per membership.
- Contribute. Ask, answer, share wins and share what didn't work. Lurking is fine, taking without ever giving is not the spirit of it.
- Respect the calls. Cameras on where you can, mute when you're not talking, let people finish.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, discrimination or abuse of any member, guest or staff member.
- Selling to members, recruiting them, or promoting your own or anyone else's products, services, programs or affiliate links without our permission. Genuine recommendations in a conversation are fine. Pitching is not.
- Poaching another member's staff or clients using what you learned about them in the community.
- Sharing mentorship content outside the community. See the Piracy Policy.
- Recording live sessions or calls without our permission. We record them ourselves and share the recordings with members.
- Posting anything illegal, defamatory, pornographic or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Spam, mass messaging, scraping member lists or adding members to external groups or email lists.
- Sharing your login or giving anyone outside your membership access.
- Impersonating anyone, or misrepresenting your business, your licence or your results.
- Anything that disrupts or damages the platforms we use.
Your content
You own what you post. By posting inside the community you give us permission to keep it there, and to reference member wins in our marketing with your consent, which we always ask for first. If you want a win kept private, just say so.
How we handle breaches
Most things get sorted with a quiet word. Depending on how serious it is, we may:
- Remove the content and have a chat with you.
- Give a formal warning.
- Suspend access for a period.
- End the membership without refund, with any remaining payments still owing.
Abuse of another member, or sharing members-only material outside the room, will usually go straight to the last one.
Reporting a problem
If something in the community isn't right, message Alan directly in Slack or use the contact page. Reports are kept confidential.
Changes
We may update this policy as the community grows. The date at the top shows the current version.
